It’s quite weird after 22 years in the industry to find myself working in another field, sort of still in the industry, but under a different capacity.
A few weeks ago my daughter sent me an advert looking for a manager of a residential home.
Initially I was like “oh no, not managerial ” but I applied as the position sounded quite interesting.
After 2 interviews with various managers of the complex, I start in my new position today ðĪŠ
The downside of this job is the getting up early morning, and an hours bus ride.
But I have a book I’m reading, so I’ll make the most of the time.

It’s been a few months now that you’re probably in your new job – I hope all goes well. I think you’re going to read through a lot of books with the travel time … but luckily, you don’t have to drive yourself and can just sit back and enjoy the ride!
Oh hello ð ð how are you. Delighted to see your comment. Thank you. Yes, nearly 4 months now. It’s going well and I’m enjoying it. The bus rides…not so much LOL. It’s like a combination of roller coaster and bumper cars. But gives me time to do social media and Yes read from time to time.
