I wasn’t up for walking today so instead I explored the gardens and found a lovely little hideaway tucked into the corner overlooking the river.

So that is where I spent my break reading. Tonight is my last night here till next month.
Its been a lovely booking, and my client and I have gotten on really well, but I’m looking forward to seeing my grandson on Sunday π
What a gorgeous place for a read.
Have fun with the “wee man”.
It was. So peaceful.
Thank you, yes ππ seeing them tonight for supper. Apparently he said ” bring icecream later ” when he heard I was coming ππ cheeky monkey…2 years old and he already has his ‘anny figured out. Which is no surprise since I was the culprit who introduced him to his first taste πππ¦
I have no sympathy, it is what is called a self-inflicted injury in the Army. In days past, shooting yourself in the foot, sunburn and syphilis were similarly categorised!
π€£π€£π€£π€£ crikey. Icecream to syphilis??? Thats a big jump. Sorry no pun intended ….
Anyway, I love icecream, so I’m good with taking some, and he does love it too. “Please can I have some more”. Too cute.
Why do you think that when I rather foolishly bought a website and was searching for a name that I chose the one I did.
I ramble (not physically now sadly) and there is no telling where my disordered brain is going to go next.
It is like a Victorian parlour game and one that I am working out in my head even as I write this although it may well have been done before, the idea has literally just come to me and I know it is merely a variation of the “six points of separation” theme.
Find some way of choosing two random points (like ice cream and syphilis!) and connect them in six steps or whatever number you choose. Using a dictionary blindly might work.
The βPlease can I have some moreβ quote from the “wee man” indicates you need to get the poor boy out of Thanet immediately. There is far too much Oliver going on there, it must be the Dickensian influence.
Please don’t ever walk the little lad past the Albion Hotel or he’ll turn into Nicholas Nickleby!
Hiya. With Folk Week just around the corner, so to speak, I’ve been reading through our chats but can’t find the place you said I should pop in at…could you please remind me. I’m working until the 11th, so should likely pop over on 12th…Will you still be playing at gigs? See you there??
