Drive within the speed limits
Don’t strain your eyes

Hi. All what You wrote here are essencials. In additon to that I am washing very frequently with wet paper lights.
To get more illuminating power next time, If one do not have already, then get a car equiped with Xenon lights. In my car (Opel Vectra OPC / Vauxhall Vectra VRX) I have Bi-Xenon lights and they are turning at same time when I am turning steering wheel.
Single Xenon lights have more than 3X the light output than normal lights. Think then Bi-Xenon light.
Have good day.
