Unfortunately the UK government The Labour Party and Keir Starmer and David Lammy are also complicit in the crimes being committed by Israel; now and for the past two years.
Israel has broken so many international laws and committed so many war crimes its difficult to keep up..the latest being piracy and abduction of humanitarian aid activists.
The government’s consistent denial of genocide muddies the water and deceives the electorate, especially those too uneducated or lazy to investigate for themselves.
We have to wonder why exactly, when it’s painfully, and horrendously clear that Israel is committing genocide, its been confirmed by various bodies of experts, our politicians continue to deny the reality, deny international law, ignore breaches of international law, ignore war crimes, ignore the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of human beings; Palestinians – babies, children, teenagers, pregnant mothers, fathers, grandparents and whole families!! Bombs (2,000lb US bombs on tents), snipers, drones, innumerable weapons of war aka killing machines, starvation, denial of basic medical equipment, denial of basic human rights (remember that Keir), and the basic tenets of human decency, all denied. Why?? What does Netanyahu have on you all? Because there is definitely something very dark and nefarious about this denial.
As normal citizens of the UK we are being harassed, arrested and incarcerated for lawful protest and free speech – against tenets of democracy. Even the International Criminal Court – ICC is dragging its heels. It’s gone beyond any reasonable conclusions, beyond any reasonable doubt. The evidence of a whole state gone rogue isn’t just mounting up, it’s already conclusive, undeniably conclusive; Israel is committing genocide and ethnic cleansing. Why are the majority of the world’s ‘leaders’ denying this? What exactly does Israel have on these individuals.

Starmer is a self declared Zionist. He’s said it out loud. Occasionally he blathers in the House he shames with his presence and drips poisoned lies from his mouth. He is fully supportive of the genocide of the Palestinian people. He supplies weapons and RAF intel. He gets paid by Labour Friends of Israel. He has no morals. The UK government has no backbone and are complicit in genocide.
The Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) said today that the British government’s reception of the President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, reflects the blatant political hypocrisy of the Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government. “Starmer has been vocally calling for an end to the war in Gaza, while at the same time his government continues to export weapons to Israel and cooperate with it on all levels. Today he welcomes the president of a state whose government is overseeing the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people.”

In a press statement issued today, the AOHR UK stressed that Herzog, despite his “ceremonial” position, is one of the pillars of the fascist regime that engineered the genocide and continues to implement it in full view of the world. The organization noted on 12 October 2023, Herzog declared: “All Palestinians in Gaza are responsible, and there are no innocents.”

This statement, widely reported in Hebrew and Western media, was deemed a direct authorisation for the targeting of civilians and a clear endorsement of genocide.

The AOHR UK added that receiving Herzog in London can only be read as a green light for the Israeli government to continue its war of extermination. The message Starmer is sending to Israel is clear: “Continue the killing, destruction, and starvation. Keep demolishing residential towers in Gaza. Do not worry about condemnatory statements; they are merely public relations exercises to contain growing popular pressure in Britain.”

The AOHR UK pointed out that this visit comes as part of Herzog’s and his government’s efforts to break their growing international isolation, especially after European countries such as Spain, Norway, and Belgium took steps towards recognising the State of Palestine or imposing restrictions on cooperation with Israel. Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister can no longer visit most European countries due to the arrest warrants issued against him by the International Criminal Court.
